Tree Trimming & Limb Removal
Structural trimming, canopy raising, palm work and storm-vulnerable limb removal.

Coastal trees carry a specific risk. Live oaks, mesquite, palms and Chinese tallow on the Coastal Bend grow into buildings and power lines, and the limbs that break first in a named storm are almost always the ones nobody trimmed in the spring.
SiteHarbor trims for structure and clearance, not for looks alone: we raise canopies off roofs and drives, remove dead and crossing wood, thin what the wind can grab, and haul every piece off the property the same visit.
What’s included
- Canopy raising and clearance over roofs, drives, walks and signage
- Dead, broken and crossing limb removal
- Selective thinning to reduce wind load before hurricane season
- Palm trimming and frond and seed-pod removal
- Ornamental and small-tree shaping
- Sucker and water-sprout removal at the base
- Full debris haul-off and hard-surface cleanup
- Referral to a licensed arborist for large removals and stump grinding
Who it’s for
Homeowners with mature oaks or palms near the house, second-home and rental owners who want limbs handled before storm season, and property managers who need documented clearance over walkways and parking.
What it costs
Quoted per property after we see the trees — size, access and haul volume drive the price. Recurring program clients get priority scheduling and a reduced rate on trim visits, and one-time trims are credited toward month one if you start a program within 14 days.
Questions
When is the best time to trim trees in Corpus Christi?+
Late winter through early spring for structural pruning, and before June for anything that could come down in a storm. Texas A&M AgriLife advises pruning oaks during the dormant period — roughly February — and avoiding cuts from February through June where oak wilt is a concern, because fresh wounds attract the beetles that spread it. Dead and hazardous limbs get removed any time of year.
Do you take trees down completely?+
We handle trimming, limb removal and small trees. Large removals, anything over a structure and stump grinding go to a licensed arborist partner — we coordinate it so you still make one call.
Do you trim palms?+
Yes. We remove dead fronds and seed pods and clean the trunk line. We do not ‘hurricane cut’ palms down to a few fronds; over-trimming a palm weakens it and it is one of the most common ways palms are damaged here.
Is the debris hauled away?+
Yes, included. Limbs, fronds and cuttings leave with the crew and the drive and walks get blown clean before we go.
