Bed Cleanup & Mulch Refresh
One-time bed resets: weeds pulled, shrubs cut back, clean edges and fresh mulch.

Beds are the fastest way to change how a property reads. A yard can be mowed perfectly and still look neglected if the beds are full of weeds, the shrubs have swallowed the windows and the mulch has faded to grey.
A bed cleanup is a single visit that resets the whole front of the property: everything that does not belong comes out, the plantings get cut back to shape, the edges get recut, and fresh mulch goes down. It is the visit we recommend before listing a house, before an event, or as the starting point for a recurring program.
What’s included
- Hand-pulling weeds and removing unwanted volunteer growth
- Cutting back and reshaping overgrown shrubs and ornamentals
- Removing dead plant material, fronds and leaf buildup
- Recutting crisp bed edges along turf, walks and drives
- Pre-emergent application coordination to slow weeds coming back
- Fresh mulch installed to proper depth
- Optional seasonal color and plant replacement
- All debris hauled off
Who it’s for
Homeowners after a neglected season, sellers and agents prepping a listing, and owners who want beds reset once before starting recurring maintenance.
What it costs
One-time bed cleanups start at $319 for a small front bed set; larger or badly overgrown properties are quoted after a walkthrough, with mulch priced by the yard. The full amount is credited toward your first month if you start a recurring program within 14 days.
Questions
How deep should mulch be on the Texas coast?+
Two to three inches, kept off the trunks and stems. That is enough to hold moisture through hot windy stretches and suppress weeds; deeper than that holds water against roots and invites rot and pests.
Will the weeds just come back?+
Some will — this is zone 9a and nothing stays clean on its own. A cleanup plus pre-emergent plus mulch buys you months instead of weeks, and beds included in a recurring program stay clean because we touch them every visit.
Can you do this once without signing up for anything?+
Yes. It is a standalone one-time visit. If you do decide to start a program within two weeks, we credit what you paid toward your first month.
